The Salvation Army of Austin

The Salvation Army of Austin is committed to doing the most good they can by helping individuals, and families in crisis. The first way they do this is by offering a hot meal to anyone who wants one 365 days a year. The next step is to provide emotional, social, and spiritual assistance. They also have several Christmas programs including the Red Kettle, The Angel Tree Program and Feasts provided at Thanksgiving and Christmas. 

We donate on your behalf, you get the receipt.

Austin’s Salvation Army is truly doing a great amount of good as they have six Austin based centers and $0.82 of every dollar, they receive goes to helping serve people in need. The Salvation Arms is always in need of financial donations. They sale items in their thrift shop and appreciate cash donations and donations of items for the shop. Also, they are happy to pick up some items, but due to constraints, there are many items they cannot take and here is a list of them for your convenience.

If you need items from this list picked up or have too much that you can’t bring to the door call us, we offer the same and next-day appointments. Sometimes your items are heavy or upstairs, we can help. If you call The Junkluggers of Austin, we will come on your schedule. You pick the time and the day that works for you.


First, We will provide you with a 2-hour window and give you a call 15 minutes before we arrive. Once we arrive we will give you a free no-obligation quote for removing your items. Don’t forget, our team is insured and background checked. The Junkluggers can pick up your items for donation to the Salvation Army. We take everything but cars!
